Wine Varieties
Repatriated ancient Greek variety which has been cultivated in Magna Grecia since the great Greek colonization (700-500 b.c.). Its name refers to Vitis Hellenica, indicating its greek origin.

Classic red vinification under controlled temperature. It matures for at least 18 months in French oak barriques in our underground cellars gaining a charming bouquet and a balanced taste.

Cultivated in Rahes Galanou (300-350m) in the privately owned vineyard of Domaine Hatzimichalis in Atalanti Valley.

Nose
Sweet spices, primarily cinnamon and cloves and primary aromas with black fruits being more dominant.
Palate
Blackberry, blueberry and the spices are also evident in the palate. Firm tannins, high acidity, full body and a pleasant chocolate aftertaste.
Best served at 15-18 °C
