From the sub-mountainous (250 meters/820 feet) single vineyard "Yataki", on the outskirts of mount Knimis part of the privately owned vineyard of Domaine Hatzimichalis in Atalanti Valley.
The climate and various sediments of this specific vineyard aide in the cultivation of Merlot, as does the lack of irrigation.

Nose
Aromas of black fruits are mostly dominant such as black cherry, blueberry, blackberry kirsch, sweet spices, wet wood and vanilla.
Palate
Medium to full body, soft tannins. On the palate we can confirm the black fruits of the nose and spices as well as chocolate and some herbaceous notes. The long finish adds to the complecxity of this wine.
